Membership Meeting Reset For March 20

The Annual Membership Meeting of the West Virginia Railroad Museum has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the railroad depot in Elkins, W.Va. The meeting had originally been set for Feb. 6, but was postponed because of winter weather conditions. The session will begin at 1 p.m. in the Caboose Room.

The meeting date was set at the February Board of Directors meeting held Feb. 18, at Beverly. President Jim Schoonover told the Board that with some of our projects moving along at about the same speed as the coming of spring, the Museum membership needs to revitalize itself as well as change the direction of some Museum endeavors.

Schoonover added, attendance of the membership at the meeting, as well as some renewed enthusiasm and energy, is needed if the Museum is to move forward.
