MAKE A DONATION - MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Want to make a difference and help preserve railroad history in West Virginia? Consider making a donation to the West Virginia Railroad Museum.
Cash donations help cover the costs of acquiring and restoring the equipment that will make up the heart of the museum, as well as general operating expenses.
We collect and care for artifacts and manuscripts that tell the story of railroading in West Virginia and significant events in the history of rail travel. Help to build the West Virginia Railroad Museum's collection by getting those dusty relics out of your attic!
Donations of cash or objects are generally tax deductible. However, an appraisal should be conducted before donation to ensure accurate valuation.

COMMEMORATIVE BRICK PROGRAM
Paving the path to the Future - One Brick at a Time!
Collecting, conserving, restoring, and interpreting the legacy of the railroad in West Virginia takes significant resources. We have big plans for the future, but we can’t do it without your support. Our commemorative brick program lets you help us pave the path to the future – literally.
You can pay tribute to your love of railroad heritage and honor your family or business by sponsoring a commemorative brick in the museum’s walkway. It is especially meaningful if you or a member of your family worked on the railroad. For a tax-deductible donation of $140.00, a 12” x 4” brown granite brick will be engraved with your inscription for generations to come.
