Annual Membership Meeting Held

The annual meeting of the West Virginia Railroad Museum, Inc. was held Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008 at the Caboose Room of the D&GV RR depot in Elkins, W.Va. A small group was on hand for the session to hear reports from various officers and committee chairpersons.

The membership heard a report given by president Jim Schoonover and secreatary Denver Barnett on the "big news" of the day-- the public announcement that the Museum and the Mountain State Forest Festival will be partners in the building of a shared 50,000 sq. ft. facility at the south end of the former Elkins rail yard.
