Back to West Virginia!

It took a couple of days to load and secure the locomotives and tenders, then a day to drive them back to West Virginia.

The three cranes made quick work of the unloading. After each piece was lifted, the trailer was removed, then the cranes turned it 90 degrees and lowered it to the rails.

After a reconnection to the tenders, each locomotive was pulled out of the way
by WVC's vintage BL2 and F-unit - both of these are almost as rare as the steam locomotives!
